My review:

Although this is described as a book for preschoolers, it will be of most use to 5-6 year olds. It is presented in a familiar school workbook format that includes counting, simple dot-to-dots, matching objects, mazes, and stickers. Each section is based on a Bible verse organized according to the Great Adventure timeline. Young children like to do "school" alongside their older siblings and this book will help fulfill that desire.

One quibble that I have with it is that the illustrations are cartoons rather than realistic portrayals of the people of the Bible. My philosophy has always been to emphasize that the Bible isn't a "storybook" but the story of living, breathing people from history. I think it is important that this workbook be used alongside a children's Bible that contains more realistic illustrations.

5 of 5 Great Salvation History Overview for Preschoolers April 23, 2021
Reviewer: Angel M. from Universal City, TX United States
This activity book helps your child follow Salvation History. The pictures are adorable and child friendly. The style of pictures are suited to young children about 3 - 7 or 8 years old. The book covers the more familiar Bible stories.

Each featured story has a cute illustration followed by a brief summary of the story as well as the Bible reference so you can look it up and read the story in your Bible also. The activities are worksheet style and appropriate for a preschooler, covering activities such as matching, spotting the difference, simple word searches, mazes, dot-to-dot, counting, and coloring. It also has an answer key at the back.
