How do I return an item?

We provide a 100% money-back guarantee on all Connecting with History Syllabi and Daily Lesson Plans within one year of purchase.

Shipping fees are non-refundable. You are responsible for return shipping costs.


Returning other materials

We accept returns for 30 calendar days after delivery of the product. At our sole discretion after 30 calendar days, we will offer store credit only.

Items must be in "new, unaltered and unused condition".

Definition of new, unaltered and unused condition is:

without showing signs of wear or damage in any way
postmarked within 30 calendar days of the date your order was delivered to your address (after 30 days no returns are allowed)
we cannot issue refunds for digital products.
CDs and DVDs are not returnable if the seal has been broken or if the disc has been handled or played unless there is a defect in the product.


Refunds are contingent upon inspection of item(s) once we receive it.

We are not responsible for damages or loss caused by the shipping provider. For your protection, please pack items that you are returning so that they are well cushioned and do not move or bend in transit. We highly recommend adding tracking and insurance to the package.


Pre-Authorization

All returns must be pre-authorized by contacting us. If you return merchandise without pre-authorization we will issue store credit only if the returned item meets the “new, unaltered and unused condition” criteria above. No cash refunds will be given for returns without pre-authorization.
Once you have received authorization to return your item(s) you must return them within 5 business days.


Restocking Fee or Store Credit

Returns of over $150 in merchandise will be charged a 10% restocking fee or you may choose to receive a store credit for the full amount. This does not include Connecting with History Syllabi or Daily Lesson Plans, which have a 100% money back guarantee.

Order Cancellation Fee
Orders cancelled before shipment may incur a service charge equal to the credit card processing fee we were charged by our payment processors.


Damaged items or our errors

We pay the return shipping cost if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.) and gladly replace your item. Please contact us within one week of receiving your order to receive a replacement. Contacting us later than one week of delivery may result in no replacement.

If your package is damaged in transit, please retain the container and packing material. If possible, take pictures of the outside of the package, a picture of the materials as they arrived inside the box, and pictures of any damages. This will assist in filing an insurance claim if applicable. Email a description of the damage and any pictures to orders@rchistory.com. We also encourage you to contact the carrier that delivered the package as they are liable for damage they have caused.


Shipping charges and Discounts

Customer is responsible for all shipping costs if seller is not at fault.

Refunds apply to merchandise only, we do not refund any shipping fees. If you received free shipping on your order we will deduct our cost from your refund.

If you received a discount on your original order we will deduct the percentage of the discount from the retail price of your returned items.


Refunds

We will process your refund within one week of our receiving your return. Your refund will be made to the account or credit card you used on your original order. Please allow up to 10 business days after processing for the refund to appear on your statement.
