Jude was born in Nazareth and was a cousin to Jesus. His father was the brother of Saint Joseph. As children, Jesus and Jude were playmates. Later Jesus chose Jude as one of His Apostles. After Jesus was crucified, Jude worked hard to convert pagans to Christianity. Jesus performed many miracles through Jude during this time. Jude became a martyr for the faith while continuing to work for Christ.

Reading this story can encourage us to follow in the footsteps of Saint Jude who, even unto death, continued to teach others about Jesus.
