Around 1628, during the Thirty Years' War, a small statue of the Infant Jesus was given to a Carmelite monastery in Prague. The monastery was soon abandoned when an army invaded the city. In 1637, Father Cyril found the broken statue and heard the words, "The more you honor Me, the more I will bless you."
