5 of 5 Brief entries April 23, 2021
Reviewer: Angel M. from Universal City, TX United States
These timeline cards have a grayscale picture on the front as well as the name of the person, place, or event. On the reverse side is the unit they are used in, the Bible timeline period, a very brief (2-4 lines) summary, the exact or approximate dates, location, and (when appropriate) which books of the Bible these people or events are referenced in/take place in. These cards have a preprinted dotted line to cut along and it is helpful that the units are not mixed. Each sheet can hold up to six cards. For example, Unit six has seven cards associated with it. The first six are printed on one sheet and then the seventh is printed on its own. These extra blank cards can be used to add additional events that you make yourself if you'd like. There is a sheet that lists the cards available by unit and an additional sheet with several activity ideas for using the cards.

These timeline cards are very helpful in remembering the main topics from several weeks of lessons (each unit in CWH takes several weeks to complete.) My children like using the cards and use them to complete some of their writing assignments. They are very convenient and I highly recommend them!

4 of 5 Time Saver June 17, 2014
Reviewer: Leandra Petrie
I bought these cards to save myself a lot of time trying to make these on my own. The idea of having to write everything and find images to use was just too much for me being a home educating mother to several young children...there is simply no time to spare. The price was very reasonable too and worth it considering how long i would have spent to make them myself. The rhyme cards are really fun and useful too for memorization. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because a few of the images on the cards are not very clear. However, most of the images are very good so overall I'm really pleased with the purchase. Note: This review refers to an older edition of the timeline cards. We have since updated all of the cards and images.

4 of 5 So Helpful =) November 10, 2013

We are using these cards to try to impress on our children's minds important people and events in our study of Ancient History.   My youngest son especially loves them -and keeps them in his history binder to play games with (I'm still trying to think up some really good ones) while my older son is more visual and just likes to see them on the timeline.  I purchased the download which is both good and bad - good for multiple children to have their own sets, bad because Mom has to remember to print and laminate them!  I know it would use a lot of ink - but color cards would also be nice especially for visual kids.  A wonderful resource!
