Later, when a fire was raging in the city, one of the Sisters asked Our Lady of Prompt Succor for her intercession. Immediately, the wind changed direction and the convent was saved! In 1815, before the Battle of New Orleans, the Sisters prayed all night. After an amazing victory the next day, General Andrew Jackson said, "The unerring hand of Providence shielded my men!" Level 2 books are about 90-96 pages each and are written for about a fourth grade reading level or higher, although some third graders are able to read them as well because of the large print size and double spacing between lines. This series has books about well-known saints, but it also includes stories about saints and other Catholics that you don't hear about very often. Share your knowledge of this product.
