Each book in the Draw and Write Through History series includes directions for drawing and coloring a person or object representing an event in history. Included are visual step-by-step instructions for drawing and then coloring and shading using suggested Prismacolor pencils.

Short paragraphs with historical information accompany each picture. As an added bonus, there is copy work written in Zaner Bloser Cursive. Cursive is becoming a lost art.
