Helpful Resource! November 15, 2023 Reviewer: Rebecca B.   I am new to homeschooling and the Connecting with History Program this year and I am so glad this resource is available.  I have three children coming out of public school and I am unsure of my ability to properly schedule their days so that they learn AND have fun -talk about a leap of faith! These lesson plans have given me the structure that I need to begin this journey with my children and I am so thankful they are available.  Everything is clearly spelled out - and if we need to speed up or slow down it is easy to see where those changes could be made.  Thank you =) Was this review helpful to you?

Wonderful Curriculum! November 15, 2023 Reviewer: Anonymous Person   It's well organized, structured yet flexible, and packed with tons of ideas for all ages.  It's obvious the author put in many years of work / experience to create this awesome curriculum.  My husband and I are also so excited to be "learning" alongside our children.  I am very pleased to have purchased it and look forward to purchasing the other volumes when our children are ready for those.  Thank you RC History! The only way to do history with a large family! November 15, 2023 Reviewer: Paula S.   "My family and I are so blessed to have found Connecting with History.  I have five children, with the sixth due at the end of November.  All my kids are at different levels, grade and ability wise.  This is my fifth year using this program, so we are doing Ancient history for the second time as a family.  When we first started, I worried greatly for my 2 middle boys as they were not readers at all.  They both could read, but it was like pulling teeth to get them to read.  In those first years I had them focus more on the hands on projects, as I would read aloud and have my oldest child (a reader) read to them as well.  They loved most of the activities and we all still talk as a family about the feasts we shared, the costumes we made and, as I have three boys, the Lego cities we built!  Just the other day I heard my thirteen year old boy tell one of his friends that his favorite subject in school is history, and now he does all the reading plus some!   Do not be discouraged by all the reading associated with this program, it is there for kids who are ready for it, or for the mom to pick and choose what works best for her child.  Though you may have chosen not to use all the reading at this level, the next time you go through that section of history-or with the next child, you will be grateful that it is there!   Buy this program.  Use this program.  You will not be disappointed!" Classical education for ANY FAMILY! November 15, 2023 Reviewer: Melisa W.   "If you are attracted to the idea of a classical education but are swimming in curricula options this is for you! All of the research and hard work has been done with respect to Holy Mother Church.  We've actually simplified our lives and cut our homeschooling bookshelf IN HALF since RC History covers literature (solid book lists, plus they provide creative writing ideas!), handwriting (we just make sure that everything written for RC History is done beautifully), and geography (maps and lesson plans included!).  Not only are the lesson plans comprehensive, but the entire program is focused on strengthening families since all children can learn about the same Unit together (just on different levels), by placing importance on reading together as a family, and by using the Bible and Catechism of the Catholic Church guide them. Finally, I truly believe that this is the best resource for Catholic families, even large families, who need simplification and peace in their lives without compromising content. Connecting with History Volume 1 November 15, 2023 Reviewer: Samantha P.   Thank you for offering this great product for our use!  My first grader and I have enjoyed beginning to look at History from its very beginning - Creation!!  Today we will do an archeological dig!  I cant wait to see her surprise!  We are loving this product and hope that others will too!! This is a must purchase November 15, 2023 Reviewer: Sylvia K.   This is a must purchase in my opinion. Everything is laid out quite nicely, and it gives you the option to choose what books and activities are right for your teaching style and your family. Both the syllabus and lesson plans have helped me to understand the program and took the stress and guess work out of planning the upcoming school year.
