Placing Your Order

Option 1 - Media Mail: orders over $25 will be sent FREE SHIPPING by Media Mail. Media mail orders $0 - 24.99 will be charged a small order handling fee of $4.00. Option 2 - USPS Priority Mail: shipping scale is based on the amount of your order, from a minimum fee of $6.00 to a maximum of $25.00 for orders up to $250.00. Orders over $250 will receive FREE SHIPPING. shipments to Continental U.S. and APO's only *These shipping charges pertain to orders shipped to the lower 48 states and APO addresses. Orders shipped to Hawaii, Alaska, or outside the USA will be charged for additional shipping costs. We will contact you with the exact shipping cost after you place your order and ask you for your approval for the additional charge before sending. RC History is not responsible for additional taxes, duties or brokerage fees charged for import/export outside of the U.S.
Your order will be processed promptly - most orders are processed and sent within 48 hours of receipt. During the busy spring and summer ordering season orders can take a week or more to process your order. Although we do keep an inventory in our home, we do sometimes run out of items, particularly during the busy summer ordering season. If an item you ordered is out of stock but due to arrive within a week we generally hold your order and ship all the items together. This saves on shipping costs - enabling us to provide FREE SHIPPING (media mail option). If an item is on backorder at the supplier and will be out of stock for more than a week we will ship it separately by media mail when it arrives here.
Most individual items may be returned at customer's expense within 30 days of purchase, please contact us for authorization before sending an item back to us. Returning more than two items from an order will result in a 20% restocking fee. Materials must be in resale-able condition in order to receive a refund so please take care to pack them carefully when returning them. If items are returned to us opened or damaged you will not receive a full refund. Also, please note that audiotapes, videos and CDs are non-refundable. Merchandise returned without prior authorization will be charged a 20% restocking fee. The Connecting with History program has a full money-back guarantee if you are not completely satisfied, no questions asked.
The nature of the book business is that books go in and out of print often, most often temporarily, but also permanently with no notice. Prices also change frequently (mostly up, but sometimes down) and we have no control over either price changes or availability of titles. Therefore, although we do our best to keep our website current if a change occurs we will adjust your order and charge you the most current price. If there is a significant upward change in the price (more than a dollar) we will let you know before filling your order.
