The Connecting With History program is based on a Core
Text
for each age level. In addition to the Core texts we include recommended reading lists which coordinate with the Core text
readings. The resource lists included here are arranged in a hierarchy
of necessity to the program:
Core books and materials are those base texts and
resources on which the program is founded – these are necessary to using
the program. These could also
be used as the only resources for the program if you wish to just do an
overview of the Old Testament over the course of a semester or a school
year.
Basic books are those needed to complete
the basic assignments for each unit.
These books are broken down by daily/weekly reading assignments for
each age level and are coordinated with the
Core texts.
Additional literature reading
assignments
are also included. These
books fill out the program for a year-long history,
religion and literature course. You
may already own many of these books or may be able to find some in your
local library, or you may wish to purchase some of these titles to have on
hand when you need them.
Supplementary
