One of the centerpieces to the Connecting with History method is compiling a Student Notebook of work the children do throughout the year.  As they study each unit of the history program the students add to their notebooks making it an invaluable record of their work, a portfolio to share with friends and relatives, and a personal memory book for years to come!

Historical Coloring Books
Historical coloring books have been a favorite activity in
our family for all of our 15 years of home educating.
Many of the coloring books we carry are the same
ones our family has enjoyed for years. 
These are not just busy-work, they provide hands-on learning experiences, contain stories and historical information that we use in our studies and are also useful as sources for narrations, copy work and story-retellings.
 The finished pictures also make great additions to your
Student History Notebooks.
