Core books are resources which provide an overview of the events of history.  A children's Bible is necessary to using the program. We recommend the New Catholic Picture Bible, however you may substitute your own children's story Bible if you wish.  

Founders of Freedom is a simple history textbook for Catholic children.  It is an optional Core text.
